  • Large Cooktop Chip. Cosmetic

    Hi all,

See image. This obviously needs more than a brush-on repair. Is there a type of filler-putty I can use on my stovetop?

    Thanks!!

    Hi,
Is the spot far enough away from the heat? If so that really opens up your options! If not then you'll have to use something resistent. If you let us know which one we might be able to help pick out something.

    Good luck!

I've never heard of anyone successfully repairing a cracked glass range top. An epoxy might be able to be used if the crack is away from the heat.

If you want to post the appliance's model number we can check to see if we can locate a reasonably priced replacement glass.
