  • Cultured Marble Panels

I'd like to install some cultured marble panels around my tub. I hear you have to be careful as the sheets can crack easily-are there any handling tips (and how easy do these break)? The biggest piece would be 60"x60". I've heard to use a masonary blade to cut them, but then I saw a video of someone cutting one by using his circular saw backwards(?). Any thoughts on how to transport the large sheet in a pickup truck? Thanks for any replies.

I installed some 2x4`s aganst the bottom of the truck bed over the top of one side of the truck, spaced about a foot apart put some 2x4 blocks to make up the differance of the wheel wells and put my flashers on and drove real slow. had no problems.
Lay the panels on a flat surface as they can worp if leaned on a wall tell you are ready to install.
