  • Kitchen Remodel question

Hello, I am thinking of remodeling my kitchen. I currently do not have a dishwasher in my kitchen and I am thinking of adding one but the only place I can put it is beside my existing freestanding oven/stove. This is the place that is nearest to the sink. I also want to move my freestanding fridge to the other side of the sink. Does any one see a problem with my layout? Can I put the dishwasher next to the oven and not cause any problems with either appliance's functionality?

*Sorry but I seem to be having problems linking my image.

You layout sounds fine. Free standing appliances can be mixed and matched in any configuration without interfering with each other.

The only thing you need to be concerned about is utility connections for the appliances such as water and drain for a dishwasher, 220v outlet for an electric range, gas supply for a gas range etc. But is sounds like you already worked that out so you should be good to go.
