  • Cleaning resin furniture

Does anyone have a good method for cleaning resin furniture (you know that heavy plastic stuff we use outside?) Mine is white and loks very dull. It was steam-cleaned once in the past--that made it beautiful for a short time, now I believe it's worse than ever. HELP.

I am no expert on the subject but I truly think that a little elbow grease and bleach would do the trick. I would make a spray bottle of bleach and water and spray the furniture and scrub it down with a brush and then hose it off. Of course, you will want to be careful about any nearby plants, grasses, ect., because the bleach will kill them. Let me know if it works, as I need to do the same to my outdoor furniture!

I recently saw a commercial on television advertising a type of paint that adheres to plasic - some new type of molecular adherance. (I believe it was a new line of spray paint by Krylon.) Painting your furniture may be an option for you, if you can't get it bright & clean. Good Luck
