    Hello,
What is the best way to patch my roof valley? Right now it seems to be developing some cracks and I want to put down a new strip of shingle.Thank you

There are a couple of ways that valleys are addressed for composition shingles.
Weaving, where the perpendicular rows are laced together.
Valley flashing, where the shingles overlap the flashing, leaving about 2" of the flashing and spline exposed, on either side of the center spline.

    What is your roof?
    Illegitimas non-carborundum
