    Hey

This dryer owes me nothing really, but if I can fix it i will naturally. Just the other day the dryer began shutting off after about 5 seconds of opperation. I have tried all the settings, but it does this no matter what, as if the timer is stuck on 5 seconds or something. Can I buy parts for this? Is there a fix? Garbage? The rest of the information is as follows, and it is about 25 years old (young?)
    Model#DDE8200PBCWH
    Serial # VP206945A
    120/240V

    3Wire

    60 Hz

    5600W

    24 Amps

    Thanks!

** as if the timer is stuck on 5 seconds or something **

You mean the timer never moves?

** the dryer began shutting off after about 5 seconds of opperation. **

As opposed to only running *while* the start button is held down??

** Can I buy parts for this? **

Probably... depending on the part which is needed.

    ** Is there a fix? **

I'm sure there is but first someone will need to determine the actual cause first.
