  • Power/Lights Flickering-Only One Part of House

I recently had our power co check outside lines due to lights flickering in all areas of house about two months ago. They replaced line/connectors. Now, light and power go off in one area of house, which I have determined are being affected off of two separate breakers. Power co came out again but said no problems outside and suggested I replace one breaker at a time due one being faulty.

What else would cause lights and power to go off and on for only a short duration?

    Thanks

    - Bad splice somewhere.
    - Loose wire somewhere.
    - Bad connection at a receptacle (quite likely). Check for wires "backstabbed" into the back of receptacles. If you find any you most likely have a problem with one somewhere.
    - Broken or cut wire (not likely).
