Don't know if this is the right forum but here goes.
The house seems to have settled leaving the central girder of my home about a centimeter too high. The floors have a ridge and the joists are showing signs of rising on one end.
Who would I talk to to see if its safe to slowly lower the jacks that hold up the central beam of the house? Is it a good idea???
