Concrete Floor
I currently have carpet in my bathroom. I'm considering removing the carpet and painting the concrete floor.
Any suggestions? Comments?

Painting concrete is not a problem from a technical perspective.
Use a paint formulated and recommended for concrete floors.
These types of paints wear better under by foot traffic.
Any paint store can recommend a good one.
Do not buy cheap.
Surface preparation is key.
The floor must be clean and dry.
Proper ventilation in small areas is also recommended.
Long term, if you plan on tiling after you paint, I would recommend an acrylic mastic, not a Portland based thin set.
If you decide to tile now, Portland based thin set will bond better directly to the concrete.
