COTTAGE CHEESE CEILINGS-REMOVAL

I HAVE READ IN "THIRD AGE HEALTH" THAT COTTAGE CHEESE CEILINGS THAT ARE 50 YEARS OLD OR MORE MAY CONTAIN ASBESTOS. I AM CONSIDERING REMOVING A COTTAGE CHEESE CEILING THAT DATES TO THE 1970'S AND I SUSPECT THIS IS A DIFFERENT PRODUCT THAN THE 50 YEAR OLD "COTTAGE CHEESE". DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS AN ASBESTOS DANGER WITH THE 70'S COTTAGE CHEESE[?]

Troy is on a distinguished road
Never heard of an asbestos danger with cottage cheese from the 70's. Of course, there are a lot of things I've never heard of that are still true. Wear a mask and make sure you are using safe practices, just to be sure.
