What tool do I use to cut a small chunk out of my wall?

Hi, I am trying to get paint that matches my bedroom wall color. I plan to cut a chunk out of my wall behind my baseboards. I will then this chunk of wall to the store to get an exact paint match. I have an exacto knife but I have a feeling this won’t be able to cut the wall well. Is there another tool I should use to cut the wall. Thanks.

LazyPup has a spectacular aura about
This still will not give you an exact color match. The paint behind the baseboard will most likely be slightly darker from dust that fell between the baseboard and the wall and the paint behind the baseboard will not be sun faded.

hope this will help

If your wall is sheetrock, you can use a sheetrock saw. It's about 9 inches long and comes to a point. Take and hold it with one hand and with the palm of your other hand push it through the wall. You can very easily saw out a small piece. Be cautious about where you wireing is. Hope this with help
