Help needed for Shower grout repair

I have a large walk in shower stall that has grout that is in need of cleaning & repair. I was wondering if using a power washer to clean and remove some of the grout would be a good idea for this job. My plan was to power wash the grout lines enough to clean and even remove some of the grout on both the floor as well as the walls. I would then let it thoroughly dry and re-grout the areas with the appropriate grouts. Any comments, ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If there are gaps in your floor grout, just regrout. the applied grout NEVER dries out. This is common for all tiled showers. same applied for the walls. scraping out the loose stuff and re-applying grout is all that's necessary. grout cleaners at home centers work good in cleaning the grout lines.

What if you just have a small area, and need to fix a few spots, How do you match?
