Cutting a poured concrete foundation

I need to cut an entrance in my basement. It's a poured concrete foundation about 16 inches thick. I was told to rent a diamond blade concrete saw.
I plan to dig out the outside and cut through one side than the other.....
How big a job is that in man hours?
